Find Your Flow

A Cyclical Guide to Getting Stuff Done

A 4-Week Embodied Adventure For Self-Employed Overdoers, Overachievers and Recovering Perfectionists to Cultivate Relaxed, Focused productivity and Guilt-Free Rest

Next Round: coming soon

not just another productivity course

Find Your Flow is a revolutionary approach to achieving your goals while honouring your body, values, and natural rhythms.

It’s a tender antidote to toxic productivity

➡ It’s a productivity sprint designed to help stuck, stressed-out solopreneurs with overactive inner critics to stop procrastinating, be more confident and get stuff done in a way that feels sustainable and authentic.

➡ This programme is about working in a more intuitive, connected and generative way to get something that matters to you done whilst nourishing your soul.  There’s a clear structure with plenty of space for flexibility and spontaneity that will both challenge and support you to find a middle way between the always-on hustle and having the brakes jammed on.

➡ You'll practise tools to get back into your body and reclaim your energy so that you can harness your natural creativity and power. You'll learn how to stop wasting energy pushing and forcing yourself to do do do and instead, focus on what really matters to you.

Bring a project you've got stuck on or are grinding out and over four weeks I'll show you how to move it forwards and make great progress in a way that actually feels fun!

“This was the best support I could have wished for in a period of intense project work.
In short, it totally worked!
I cannot recommend this program enough for anyone who tends to be hard on themselves and long for some tenderness and spacious holding in the midst of it all.”

~ Simona

Are you stuck being on, overcommitted, always busy, constantly in action mode and under pressure…

…or…

are you bogged down, procrastinating, indecisive and not putting yourself out there?

You long for simplicity and ease, yet you keep saying “Yes” to things even though you promised you’d keep more time for yourself. You beat yourself when you make even the smallest mistake, saying, “I should have known better.” You think there must be a better way of doing things because the way you’re doing them can’t possibly be right.

If that's you, chances are

  • it's leaving you feeling exhausted, frazzled and stretched thin,

  • it's sucking the joy and creativity out of you,

  • you’re not making progress on the projects you care about - the website still isn’t finished, you haven’t started to write that book you’ve been meaning to, that course just needs a little bit more work before it’s ready,

  • your health is suffering, as are your relationships, because you don’t have time or energy,

  • you're not achieving the success you desire (which, if you're honest, isn't well-defined and mostly consists of more than what you have now).

You're realising that perfectionism might be the driver. You can't shake the feeling of never quite being good enough and believe that there's always room for improvement. You're tired of trying to do it all "right" and not trusting yourself to get there.

You're ready for a new cycle of relaxed, focused productivity and guilt-free rest. You want to do amazing things without the overwhelm, the self-doubt and an inner critic beating you up all the time.

You’re done forcing it and brutalising yourself.
You’re ready to find your flow.

My wish for you is a full life, not a busy one.

One where you get to play as big as you want to without smallifying yourself along the way.

Find Your Flow
will support you to

  • Get stuff done without the pressure of always having to do more for the sake of it.

  • Stay focussed on what matters most to you and your work while staying rooted and grounded.

  • Take action whilst staying connected with your body, your values, and your rhythms.

  • Learn new ways of being so you have more choice and grace under pressure and show up as the version of you you're proud of.

  • Transform the way you work beyond the 4-week adventure.

Find ease, freedom and flow by redefining success on your own terms with cyclical wisdom

“Before this course, my approach worked in a brute-force, functional sort of way, but it lacked heart and feeling. Something was missing from the way I got things done. Vix gave me the tools and encouragement I needed to create something more humane, that works with the whole of me, not just my brain.

More than just getting things done, I gained a new language, prompts and questions that help me navigate my state; moods and energy. I’m more aware of working with what’s available to me relative to my needs, instead of how I ‘should’ be. I can still be productive, just more gentle with my heart and body.

Like all the best kinds of learns, Vix’s course was full of realisations and ‘rememberings’ (a term I also learned on the course!). Stuff fell into place; like cycles that I sensed were there, yet lacked the language to describe and notice. Thanks to Vix I now have that. It’s not ephemeral, it’s real concrete practices I’ve integrated into my day-to-day practice.

There’s LOTS packed into this course. When stuff lands, it really lands - concepts and questions, all delicately and thoughtfully introduced by Vix. This all happens in a supportive, kind container, alongside other like-hearted ‘little productivity rebels’. If your productivity habits aren’t serving you so well any more, and you’re curious to progress in a way that’s tender and respectful of the unique way you relate to the world - with perfectionism, this course is for you.”

Course Curriculum

From rigid productivity to intuitive living
in a community of productivity rebels

“Working with Vix enabled me to find ways of getting stuff done that’s more in tune with my working preferences and energy levels, rebalancing my working patterns from should/must do chores to effortless, enjoyable flow.  At times, this is so powerful that I sometimes wonder if I am putting in “enough effort” – but then I look at the continuing outcomes that the effort I am putting in is giving me and I realise I don’t need anything more.

The programme is like a quest game.  Each session and the between-session work provided the diamonds, gold nuggets, handy tools and magic keys that opened doors to previously hidden rooms.  I learned to turn my internal critic into my critical friend. The programme enabled me to develop ongoing ways of learning and taking action in the world which feel much more like me and are much more joyful and satisfying as a result.  The Quest continues – but as a game I have chosen rather than an imperative.”

“Get It Done was all I hoped and way way more!

I’ve had a long-standing obsession with planning, organising and spreadsheets, having tried numerous journals, apps and online software. This course allowed me to do away with all of that and get things done in a way that felt easy, simple and nourishing. One big win was a shift to focusing on all that I had done, rather than focusing on all I had yet to do! It allowed me to focus on the things that are truly meaningful to me.

Vix is an awesome facilitator, and for me provided the ideal mix of structure and freedom that helped me really get the most out of what we were learning. I’d highly recommend this to anyone who is feeling challenged in getting things done in a way that feels good!”

FAQs

  • Oh, the irony of a perfectionist thinking ‘I’m not enough of a perfectionist’ for this! Ditto for those of you who think overachieving is something reserved for millionaire-before-they’re-25 entrepreneurs building a charitable foundation alongside solving climate change. Perfectionism is a misnomer; we should really call it ‘never quite feeling good enough-ism’. You can read more about my views on perfectionism here.

This might be for you if:
    - You recognise the need to slow down so you can create more space for yourself.
    - You’re an action taker, you’re not afraid of commitment and showing up consistently. You already put the hours in but know that there is a more gentle, connected and intuitive way to get the results you desire.
    - You want to work on a project in greater alignment with your own cycles and pace.
    - You’re committed to letting go of old patterns that are no longer serving you and you’re open to doing things differently.
    - You end up feeling depleted or overwhelmed from the busyness of large group programmes and masterminds but feel isolated and lonely working on your own all the time.
    - You want to focus on ‘outputs’ and break the habit of over-consuming content and curriculum.
    - You’re seeking community, accountability and wisdom sharing to support each other in aligned action.
    - You’re craving a space where you can have meaningful conversations about contributing to positive change in the world through your work and life.

  • The short answer is that it’s an awareness practice to align yourself with the rhythms that permeate your life.

For a longer answer, check out this blog post.

  • I hear you and you are the best judge of whether this fits in your life right now.

My intention is for Find Your Flow to be something that supports you to do all the things already on your list, not for it to be yet another thing you feel like you have to do. You’ll get more brains thinking about the challenges you’re facing, accountability to ease through procrastination, and a whole group of cheerleaders backing you.

The basic commitment is the 90-minute call once a week, which will be recorded for those weeks you can’t make it live. The calls and exercises are focused helping you get further forward on whatever you’re working on so you can make progress more powerfully.

One way perfectionism can show up is in a need to be in exactly the ‘right’ state to commit to something like this. I’ve done this. I’ve thought to myself “I’ll be ready to do this thing that will help me with this issue as soon as I have done all the healing myself around this issue and I’m fixed.” The point of this time is together is that you don’t need to be fixed, or healed, or be the perfect client. You get to be you, exactly as you are.

  • Simply, bring something you want to make some progress on:
    - a project you’ve been working on that is never quite ready to launch like that course you've been squirrelling away on alone for the past 6 months,
    - a project you haven’t quite gotten started on because it’s never quite the right time, like the book you've always wanted to write,
    - something in your work where you’re constantly battling the fear of not being good enough or putting yourself out there, like your not-so-regular blog or social media posts,
    - or simply bring your to-do list.
Previous participants have written books, finished their websites, launched a new offer, finally started sending a regular newsletter, and developed a new system for connecting with new clients.

Whatever you’ve been stuck grinding away on, I'll show you how to move it forwards and make great progress in a way that actually feels fun!

  • No, not all. Most of my clients have been on a similar journey to me, leaving corporate jobs to follow their own dreams but find themselves still working corporate hours. The material is just as applicable to someone with a career or is working on other things (like a degree or raising little people).

  • Yes, they are and I’ll share the recording within 24 hours.

  • I hate the idea of homework! You decide what you want to commit to for yourself.
Some weeks, I will share exercises for you to play with outside of the call time (only if you want to).

That said, reflection is a vital phase of any cycle and one that many of us rush past as we launch ourselves into the next week. To help you learn effectively, at the end of each week, I will ask you to share some reflections on what you’ve learnt from that week’s teachings, what progress you’ve made against the goals you set yourself for the week, and what goals you’re setting yourself for the next week.

  • The programme will support you to:

    - Work on your business and get stuff done without the pressure of always having to do more for the sake of it.
    - Find fresh solutions when you're out of ideas by accessing the wisdom of the collective group mind.
    - Stay focussed on what matters most to you and your work while staying rooted and grounded.
    - Get stuff done whilst staying connected with your body, your values, and your rhythms.
    - Connect with like-minded peers and build a community of kindred spirits.
    - Learn new ways of being so you have more choice and grace under pressure and show up as the version of you you're proud of.
    - Transform the way you work beyond the 4-week adventure.

  • Lots actually! This probably isn’t a great fit if you want lots of 1-2-1 attention or you hate being in groups.

If you’re not open to the possibility of change or learning from others. If paying £450 would cause you financial difficulties or stress (please contact me to discuss a scholar place if this is the only reason you’re not joining).

Ultimately, if it doesn’t feel right or you have a sense of ‘should’ about it.

  • I’m confident that you will make progress on whatever you’re working on through this adventure. So, if you join, take part in the calls (or watch the recordings), do the exercises for the first week and you aren't feeling the start of a shift in your work, I will personally refund your full investment and give you a big virtual hug for trying it out.

A Values-Led Approach for People who want to Dance to their own Rhythm

You’re good enough as you are

You don't have to change yourself to change your life. Self-improvement isn't necessary. Use the time and energy to go after your dreams and change the world instead.

Isolation is a dream killer

Sure, you could do it all by yourself but gritting your teeth and getting on with it can’t replace encouragement, different perspectives and accountability. You need input and support from other people. They'll tell you things you need to know, encourage and believe in you and keep you moving toward your goal. You’ll even enjoy it more.

Something in you already knows the answer

Your body is an insightful and untapped teacher. Perfectionism, over-striving, and overthinking all take you out of your body and desensitise you to the wisdom you already have. Get out of your head and the endless paralysis-by-analysis by learning to tune in and trust your own nature.

Your pace is perfect

Only you know what the right speed for you is. Stop comparing your life to what other people are doing; it’s not a race. Tune into your own rhythm; dance to your own beat. It’s better to take many small steps in the right direction than take a giant leap forward, only to stumble backwards.

“Thank you, Vix, for bringing your wisdom, insight and practical approach to getting things done and creating a grounded and safe space for us.
I started the course not knowing where to start with my project and finished with my project taking place just 2 weeks later - so exciting!”

~ Reena

“This was a very different programme from things I’ve tried before.

Instead of striving towards externally driven goals, which would probably have been more about impressing others than creating fulfilment and meaning for myself, Vix helped me to focus on what would make my life meaningful and engaging. The programme helped me to acknowledge and celebrate my values and quirks so I could create aligned authentic goals.

It was also very healing, and I managed to manifest some other unspoken dreams as a wonderful byproduct of the programme.”

~ Trudy A.

“A get-together I was looking forward to each week.

Vix brings her authentic self to her workshops and makes people feel seen by showing up as imperfect as everyone else. There is so much power in realising that I’m not the only recovering perfectionist around. Being witnessed by others in my struggles with life and being human can be very healing. I started to feel more empathy and softness towards myself.

I also learned that there are different types of perfectionists and my perfectionism is valid - what a perfectionist thing to assume that I’m not perfectionist enough to be a perfectionist!”

~ Lisa S.

I’m a recovering perfectionist Too.

You’re not alone in being stuck.

I’ve had my own battles with this cycle since I burnt out 5 years ago and started working for myself. I was working in a job I loved, giving more and more yet never feeling I was doing enough. I thought being self-employed would make it all better but I continued to find myself in this pattern of perfectionism keeping me stuck on or stuck procrastinating.

With no one to tell when good enough is good enough, I’ve found myself doing more and more and getting more and more stressed out. And there have been times I’ve put off getting started on bringing an idea to life because it never felt quite ready.

it wasn’t for lack of trying

I read all the books, I went to therapy, and I tried lots of different practices. It would work for a while and I would find myself staring my perfectionism in the face again. On those days, I felt like a bigger failure. I felt perpetually and hopelessly stuck. I felt that I had to figure it out on my own - that I couldn’t engage in courses or programmes until I had done all the healing work myself and I was fixed. Then I’d be ready.

but I was scared

As difficult as this cycle was, I was scared of trying something different. What if I lost all my momentum? How could I possibly get anything done if I slowed down? For all the discomfort, my approach of “grit my teeth and push through” did get results - sort of.

I’m not going to promise that this course will change your life, although it might. You’ve gotten really good at this way of working; of course you have, you’ve been practising for long enough. If you really want to break this cycle and get unstuck, you need to start practising something different.

It’s bigger than you

Whilst we perfectionists might like to think that we’re the only ones who don’t have it all figured it, this feeling of stuckness is so much bigger than us. We live in a world that exists on a narrative of continual work and unsustainable growth. Of pushing harder, further, and longer; of doing it all by myself. It’s the endless hustle mindset that pushes us to be in action mode no matter how we feel and tells us our body’s resistance is simply a sign of weakness in our minds. It's an approach to work that ‘makes sense’ yet feels terrible because it doesn't work in practice.
